Kylie Minogue joins The Voice UK coaching panel

Kylie Minogue has signed up to appear on The Voice UK.

The reality TV show lost two coaches earlier this year following its second series after Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue jumped ship.

The BBC have now confirmed that Australian superstar Minogue will fill one of the vacant seats.

They have also announced that will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones will return for the third series, with the fourth coaching role still be to announced.

Speaking about her appointment, Minogue said: "I'm very excited to become a Coach on The Voice. I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series. The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice gives us all a part to play in that. Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!"

Will.i.am meanwhile commented: "While I will miss Danny and Jessie, I’m excited to be returning for Season 3 and to work with Kylie and Tom. Together we will mix it up and bring new energy and ideas to the show."
