Labrinth wants to work with 1D: 'There's a part of them that people still haven't heard'

'Earthquake' hitmaker and producer Labrinth has revealed that he is desperate to get the One Direction boys into the studio with him because there's a side to them that still hasn't been showcased and he thinks he could 'pull that out of them'.

Speaking to MTV News recently, he admitted that he heard the 'Story Of My Life' heartthrobs singing a Boyz II Men track while they were on 'The X Factor' and the style was so different to everything they've released since rising to fame:

"It would be fun. There is a part of One Direction that people haven't heard. I would like to pull that out of them. I remember hearing them on 'The X Factor' in the dressing room singing a Boyz II Men song. I was like, 'that's sick, man'. I would love to hear them like that, just one time. Let them throw the harmonies down."

Labrinth also told the press recently that he wants to collaborate with Zayn Malik because he was so impressed with the star's incredible voice:

"Zayn’s got a sick voice. I always remember Zayn singing cause I remember when One Direction were first starting. I went through all the dressing rooms. And I heard One Direction singing together and then Zayn was just doing some ad-libs and I was like 'Wow this guys sounded like he was from Boyz II Men or something'. He was really killing it but I think people have yet to hear him sing that way."
