Labrinth has claimed that he has been made to perform on this year's X Factor.

The music star is signed to Simon Cowell's label Syco and looks set to perform his track 'Beneath Your Beautiful' on the show.

However, he has been quoted as saying that he has been forced into the performance of the song, which is a collaboration with Emeli Sandé.

Labrinth also believes that musicians who take themselves seriously don't want to perform on the reality TV show. He said:

"I've been forced. A lot of people think I hate X Factor and think it's s***. I'm just being honest about the way it works. I think artists who take their craft really seriously don't go on it."

'Beneath Your Beautiful' is lifted from Labrinth's debut album 'Electronic Earth', which was released in April 2012.
