Lady Gaga has given fans a rare glimpse inside her home.

The singer uploaded a photo of what she calls her "boudoir" on her website Little Monsters.

The 'Applause' star posted: "My boudoir. This isn't my bedroom, but here's a little snapshot of CHEZ GAGA!"

The image shows off a regal looking room resplendent in ornate furnishings and wallpaper.

One fan thoughtfully commented: "I would like to sleep on that bed with the window open while it's raining outside."

Gaga meanwhile recently reflected on her career after confirming that it has been five years since the release of her first No.1 song, 'Just Dance'.

She said on Twitter: "5 years today I had my 1st #1 Song with Just Dance. I can't believe I'm even here. Still making music I believe in. In my big shoes. Paws up."
