Lady Gaga on SXSW performance: 'It'll be a real blast from my past'

'Applause' beauty Lady Gaga has been confirmed to play at South By South West festival later this month and will perform on the Stubb's Stage at the Austin, Texas event on March 13.

Speaking to the Rolling Stone about the impending performance, Gaga explained that she wants to take it back to how she performed when she first started out:

"I want the audience in Austin to see me live in a way I never have before. I love theatrics, but I started out singing at a piano with a Bud Light in a bikini. Performing at Stubb's is a real blast from my past, I can't wait to celebrate with the audience how far music can go when we believe and stick together."

There are 2000 tickets for her set up for grabs, but her Little Monsters will have to prove their worth in order to get their hands on them. In a promotional video, Gaga explains that her fans should "share a picture or a video that expresses your individuality through a bold action" and the best entries will be rewarded with passes.
