Lady Gaga: 'ARTPOP is a mantra for creative souls'

Modern pop icon Lady Gaga has revealed that one way to characterise her made-up word 'ARTPOP' is to say that it's a creative mantra that can help inspire people.

The 'Applause' sensation took to her official Twitter page this afternoon (April 1) and explained to her Little Monsters around the world that it's a term that should ignite the creative spark within them:

"It is a mantra for people who are creatively inclined. It speaks deep to your soul, or not at all #ARTPOP."

Gaga also told her fans on the social networking page that her forthcoming tour, artRAVE, will be unlike anything they've seen from her yet: "The artRave is a totally different show! Though I am not so secretly obsessed with the Roseland Show..."

Back in March, she shared her plans for the stage design and confessed that there will be transparent runways protruding from the main platform for her fans to dance under: "The stage is lucite and you can just dance underneath the runways."
