Lady Gaga says her upcoming world tour will make "live art" every night on stage.

The singer is due to embark on her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour from early May as she travels the globe.

Speaking to Capital FM, the US star said that she views her tour as being like an art "installation" with her fans.

When asked how the preparations are going for the run, Gaga said:

"It's really, really amazing. The whole premise of the tour is basically making live art - that's how we see it, a live installation every night with the fans.

"It's a party, and it's all about a celebration of music. Anyone that is into anything that is creative is going to really, really love this show. It's all about putting you in a creative headspace and celebrating that."
