Lady Gaga: 'In America they only write about my personality, not my music'

Lady Gaga believes places like Japan are more supportive of artists than America.

The singer is currently in the Asian country on the latest leg of her ARTPOP Ball world tour.

She has been seen wearing a number of flamboyant outfits when out and about and one fan said on Twitter: "I love it when Gaga makes people gasp every time she goes out in public."

This prompted the singer herself to reply and opine on the difference between Japan and the US.

She said: "In America they only write about my personality, not my music. They are judgy and harrass artists. Japan supports artists."

Next up meanwhile for Gaga is a date in Seoul, South Korea on August 16.
