Lady Gaga has praised Adam Lambert's work as Queen's frontman.

The vocal powerhouse has been touring with the British rock band this summer in regions like North America and Australia.

He is stepping into the big shoes of late singer Freddie Mercury, but Lady Gaga - who recently performed 'Another One Bites The Dust' with the group - believes Lambert is doing a sterling job.

The US icon tweeted the former American Idol star on Monday (September 29):

"Miss singing with you and Queen! You do Freddie so proud every night, so happy for you!"

Queen and Lambert meanwhile announced on Monday a series of European tour dates.

They will play a number of arena shows in the UK next year.
