Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett announce London show

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett have confirmed plans to perform in London next year.

The duo teamed up recently for the jazz duets album 'Cheek to Cheek' and today (October 27) it was revealed that they will head to Britain for a charity show in June.

They will hold a gala evening at London's Royal Albert Hall on June 8 in support of charity WellChild.

WellChild chief executive Colin Dyer commented: "WellChild is thrilled that Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are supporting WellChild through this concert. The proceeds will be a massive boost to our work to support seriously ill children and their families across the UK."

The gig will be the 18th time 88-year-old Bennett has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and Gaga's first.

Tickets will go on sale from 9am UK time on Friday (October 31).
