Lady Gaga gives church singer career advice after seeing her perform at baptism

Lady Gaga delighted a church singer by giving her praise and advice after seeing her perform at a baptism.

The singer and her boyfriend Taylor Kinney were in attendance at the Grandview United Methodist Church in Manheim Township on Sunday (December 28) for a family related event.

24-year-old Liz Fulmer played the piano and sang at the baptism and it seems she caught Gaga's eye.

Speaking to LancasterOnline, the amateur said that the global star tried to find her after her set, but to no avail.

However, Gaga eventually got her phone number and sent her text messages of praise and advice.

Fulmer said: "During the song, it's like she wasn't there. Then I got nervous again when I was done. People from the church told me that she whispered to her boyfriend that I was good...[The text message read:] 'Hi Liz, it's Gaga. You were sensational. Keep up the amazing work'."

Speaking about receiving advice from Gaga, she added: "It was a very generous offer...She's a songwriter at heart. It was all very serendipitous for me. I really am a huge fan."
