Pop megastar Lady Gaga recently sold tickets to a special Soul Cycle class, which began at $1,000 (£625), to raise money for her Born This Way Foundation and the event was a success.

Gaga's foundation helps empower youngsters and end bullying was celebrated by the fitness workout and she told her fans on Twitter that it was an amazing experience, which was full of enthusiastic individuals who shared her dream.

The sensation shared a photograph to Instagram (pictured left) and accompanied it with a caption that sees her thank everyone involved in raising money for the organisation:

"Soul Cycle ride for The Born This Way foundation was a hit today in Chicago! Thank u to everyone who participated in raising money and awareness for a cause so close to my heart. Let's work toward a kinder and braver world: where every kid wakes up knowing their voice matters, that they are heard, and that there are many resources available to help them with the emotional and social challenges they face."
