Lady Gaga dazzles with disco cover of Chic's 'I Want Your Love' for Tom Ford

Lady Gaga has donned disco heels for a cover of the Chic classic 'I Want Your Love'.

The 29-year-old star has joined forces with the legendary Chic co-founder, Nile Rodgers, for an updated version of the 1979 track, which soundtracks Tom Ford's Spring/Summer '16 collection.

The fashion movie is directed by Nick Knight, who has previously collaborated with Lady Gaga on visuals for her Monster Ball Tour.

Fashion designer Ford commented: "Instead of having a traditional show this season, I wanted to think about how to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online."

"I have always loved 'Soul Train', which used to be on TV in the '70s, as it was as much about the clothes as the music.

"I asked Nile Rodgers to collaborate on a new version of one of his great hits from that time, 'I Want Your Love', and worked with Gaga to record the vocals."

It explains why Rodgers and Gaga have been in the studio together this year and let's hope they've got some more disco magic for Gaga's new album.

The record will be the fifth of Gaga's career and was recently described by her close friend Sir Elton John as "Fabulous".

Gaga has also been in the studio with long-term collaborator RedOne, who produced some of her biggest hits, including 'Bad Romance' and 'Poker Face'.
