Gaga on 'American Horror Story' role: 'It makes me feel alive'

'Born This Way' sensation Lady Gaga is currently starring in the new series of 'American Horror Story: Hotel' and has opened up about being on the show in a new interview.

Speaking to reporters at the premiere of the new season Gaga admitted that playing Countess Elizabeth, who runs the Hotel Cortez, has been an incredible experience so far and she loves acting:

"It's been so fun. Everybody on this cast has been really open and available to me in a very honest way, so I'm able to be myself in a way I feel like I haven't been in a really long time, so they are just making me feel so alive." The superstar went onto add that she is honoured to be a part of the project: "I'm just really happy to be a part of it. I like being a part of someone else's vision it's really exhilarating."

Gaga recently confessed that love scenes don't intimidate her because they provide a chance to be 'fearless':

"They don't scare me, those scenes. It's an opportunity to be fearless. In a strange way, I think I almost prefer to watch myself in a love scene, because I know that I have to be completely honest in order to achieve something that looks authentic and feels real. I'm trying to see that authenticity in myself all the time on film."
