Lady Gaga is continuing to provoke with her outrageous costumes - the singer was almost arrested during a recent trip to Russia for wearing skimpy outfit.

The pop star is known for her daring and revealing clothes, with her day-to-day wear consisting of kooky items such as thigh-high lace-up boots, oversized hats, and latex corsets.

And her style choices didn't go unnoticed during a visit to Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow over the weekend when she was stopped by police for flashing too much flesh in a leather get-up.

On her Twitter account she posted, "They tried to arrest me in Russia, for leather at St. Basil's. But all is calm in the red square, as I leave the east Parisbound (sic)."

It's not the first time the 'Just Dance' hitmaker has landed in trouble for her outfits - she was recently reprimanded by a policeman in Chicago, Illinois after stepping out in hotpants.
