Lady Gaga performs with Mark Ronson at Met Gala afterparty

Lady Gaga took to the stage with Mark Ronson at a Met Gala afterparty.

The two musicians teamed up in New York on Monday (May 2) following the glitzy bash.

Their set included a cover of Talking Heads' 1983 hit 'Burning Down The House'.

Both Gaga and Ronson played electric guitar, with the former on vocals.

The pair have been working together in recent months on music for Gaga's next record.

Speaking in a recent radio interview, the singer promised fans that the follow-up to 2013's 'ARTPOP' will be "worth the wait".

She revealed: "I’m actually working every day on my record and I will be done with it at some point! I just feel like this is my time for me to spend with my music.

"I have, for years, had to do so many other things and keep up with so much to please people around me and this is the first time I really get to spend with my work, you know? I promise you it will be worth the wait."
