Lady Gaga on playing The Countess in 'AHS: Hotel'

'Till It Happens To You' sensation Lady Gaga has opened up about playing the role of The Countess in 'American Horror Story' and revealed that she put a lot of time and effort into making sure her portrayal was the best it could be.

Gaga, who won a Golden Globe for the role, told The Hollywood Reporter that creating the character's look was very detailed because they took into account her activities, her personality and her presence:

"Lou (the show’s costume designer Lou Eyrich) and I spent a lot of time talking about how I feel about the character — like, why she wears her hair a certain way when she goes out hunting. When she [the Countess] walks into the room it all belongs to her."

'American Horror Story' co-creator and producer Ryan Murphy added: "I think she [Lady Gaga] was drawn to being an actor because she was a little afraid of it like she wanted to conquer it and yet she’s playing someone who has no fear."
