Lady Gaga's new single 'Perfect Illusion' is set to be revealed on Friday (September 9).

The singer announced last month that the first tune from her next album would be unveiled in September.

A number of radio stations are now reporting that they will receive the single on Friday.

Producer Mark Ronson has been working with Gaga on her new music and he previously said the tunes are top-notch.

He said: "We've been working on this record for a while. I can't really get into it too much - I'm not trying to be coy, but I feel like it's not my place.

"When the time's right to tell the story, I feel like she should tell. But it's some of my favourite music I've really ever worked on. It's incredible - I love it."

Lady Gaga's last album 'ARTPOP' was released in 2013.
