Lady Gaga talks deep-rooted country influence

Lady Gaga says her country influence stems back to her childhood.

Singer-songwriter Hillary Lindsey penned three tracks for Gaga's upcoming album 'Joanne'.

Among them is the tune 'Million Reasons', which runs with a country sound.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, the US star said "I love Johnny Cash, I love Neil Young, I love Garth Brooks".

She added of Brooks: "When I was little, my father used to play 'I've Got Friends in Low Places' really loud in the basement, and I'd catch him down there dancing by himself, screaming real loud.

"I thought it was cool."
