Lady Gaga's Bad Romance ranked No. 1 video of 21st century

Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" has been ranked the No. 1 video of all time by Billboard in their list of Top 100 videos of the 21st Century.

Selected by critics, the video was chosen because: "It offered a glimpse into an entire cinematic world that thrilled and disturbed in equal measure, expanding the possibilities of what a music video could achieve -- and challenging other stars to step their game up at the same time."

Elsewhere in the Top 10 are:

 2. Missy Elliott's "Work It"
 3. D'Angelo's "Untitled (How Does It Feel?)"
 4. Beyoncé's "Formation"
 5. OutKast's "Hey Ya!"
 6. Rihanna & Calvin Harris' "We Found Love"
 7. Britney Spears' "Toxic"
 8. Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" (Put a Ring on It)
 9. Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice"
10. Childish Gambino's "This Is America"

The most recent video is Gambino's "This is America" which was released earlier this year.

It topped the charts in 12 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, UK, and US (Dance Club Songs, Mainstream Top 40), making it one of the best-selling singles of all time.
