U.S pop phenomenon Lady Gaga has revealed her beauty secrets in a new interview with People Magazine. 

The 'Born This Way' singer expressed that she often lapses on her routine as she was "blessed with good genes", but has a few tips that she tries to abide by to keep looking fantastic:

“I don’t like to tan my face because it’s bad for wrinkles,” 

She also confessed to washing her face in "ivory soap" after being told to do so by her mother and has ditched the false lashes and mascara for a more contemporary style:

“I think it’s more modern not to wear [either]. I just wear eyeliner.”

When talking about her trademark white-blond hair, the star explained that her natural colour was so much easier to handle because she now has to get it treated:

"get a chemical haircut because my blonde hair is falling out."
