Lady Gaga stopped by 'The Late Show With David Letterman' yesterday, May 23, to talk about her new record and wearing underpants as outerwear. 

The 'Born This Way' superstar also spoke about her love life, and when quizzed by Letterman if she was single she simply replied:

"Are you asking? I do like a man in an orange tie!"

She soon led the conversation in a different direction and explained how she interacted with her fans on Twitter as her new record came out internationally, and also revealed that she uses the 'egg' vessel to "experience rebirth":

"For me, it is a place where I can meditate and experience rebirth so I just get inside of it and close it, and when I feel that I have been reborn- spiritually - I just..."

Soon after being asked to label rumours as either true or false, Gaga snatched the notes from Letterman's hands, tore them up and ate them.
