Lady Gaga celebrated a No.1 position in the UK albums chart on Sunday, May 29 with her new full-length offering and as if that wasn't a big enough achievement she can also boast the biggest selling week of 2011 in the UK so far. 

'Born This Way' shot to the top of the chart, knocking the seemingly unshakeable Adele's '21' from its incredible reign, after shifting an impressive 215,000 copies which according to the Official Charts Company was "more than the rest of the Top 10 combined".

She is currently working on the video for her next single from the record and recently tweeted her excitement about the project to her fans:

"I can't wait for you to see The Edge of Glory."
