Lada Gaga premiered the new video for ‘The Edge of Glory’ last night on Fox’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’

The song was inspired by the death of her grandfather and the accompanying video is an obvious homage to the 80’s.

The costumes that feature in the video were from Gianni Versace’s last collection and combine leather belts and braces, heavy gold jewellery and studded gloves.

Surprisingly, the video is more pared down than usual, only featuring Lady Gaga and saxophone player, Clarence Clemons, on a set consisting only of a fire escape, porch steps and a pavement.
