Lady Gaga opens Gaga's Workshop at Barney's department store in New York

Last night, November 21, pop icon Lady Gaga officially opened her brand new project at department store Barney's in New York City.

The 'Born This Way' superstar launched the exciting Gaga's Workshop yesterday and the grand unveiling was a spectacular and theatrical event.

The 5,500 square foot installation is currently housed on the fifth floor of Barney's and was partly designed by the singer-songwriter herself. It features Gaga-inspired products such as hair bows, 'Telephone' themed iced cookies and other delightful accessories, and Gaga told The New York Times:

"There's all sorts of affordable presents here, and they are guilt free. It's the dream of what music and culture are all about, and these are things that can get lost when you focus too much on commercialism. This is, for me, a much more whimsical approach, a Pop Art approach."
