Lady Gaga: 'My love life is sacred and private'

Lady Gaga has opened up about her love life and explained to journalist Katie Couric that her private life is, and always will be, "sacred".

Speaking during the interview for her A Very Gaga Thanksgiving television special, which aired in the U.S. last night (November 24), the 'Born This Way' superstar admitted that she would never let the press interfere with her personal relationships:

"My love life is the only thing I don't talk about. The day I get married, no matter how many helicopters are flying over that chapel, they are not getting one picture."

She added that the only medium through which she would address her own love life is song, and even then her lyrics tend to be ambiguous rather than specific:

"I don't know how artists do it. Talk about their lives and marriages and divorces and boyfriends. It's sacred in a different way and I would rather reveal it in a poetic way."
