Lady Gaga has revealed her admiration for late star Whitney Houston - calling her the "greatest of all time".

Gaga gave an exclusive interview to chat show queen Oprah Winfrey recently - which she said would be her last interview for some time.

In the interview, she took time to praise Houston, stating that she used to pretend to be her when she was a child. She said:

"She for me is the greatest of all time...I used to stand at the top of the staircase and sing The Star Spangled Banner every single day after school."

As previously reported, Lady Gaga has been busy recently preparing for her upcoming world tour, tweeting that she is going to "die of excitement" as the tour nears its opening date.
