Lady Gaga has teased her eager fans with a new photo ahead of the first date of her forthcoming world tour.

The superstar is heading out across the globe from April 27, when she takes to Seoul's Olympic Stadium for the Born This Way Ball's maiden date.

She posted a photo of herself on Twitter today (April 24) "having fun" with the tour's stage crew - helping them drill.

Gaga dubbed herself the "real Iron Maiden" as she bends over and gets to grips with the powerful tool. She tweeted:

"I will do anything for my fans! Having fun with the stage crew guys, screwing on the runway. A Real Iron Maiden!"
