Lady Gaga thanks fans for response to Born This Way Ball opening night

Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to thank fans for their response to the opening show of her mammoth 'Born This Way Ball' tour.

The US superstar, who was labelled ‘obscene’ by protestors who rallied outside the gig at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium, told her followers that she was overwhelmed by the reception she received from the 45,000 crowd.

“I could barely sleep last night. It was the 2nd highest attendance of fans in the History of concerts in Korea.”

The 26-year-old, whose 24-track setlist included performances of ‘Bad Romance,’ ‘Telephone’ and ‘Just Dance,’ continued:

“I'm so grateful for all of you, thank you monsters. Last night was like being completely prepared for a moment you could never prepare for.”
