Lady Gaga on finding love: "Divorce is not an option for me"

'Marry The Night' superstar Lady Gaga has revealed that her parents and grandparents have set solid examples for her when it comes to love and relationships.

During an appearance on The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet, which aired in America last night (May 3), the hitmaker explained that "divorce is not an option" in the family she comes from and marriage, for her at least, will be for life:

"My grandmother... was married to my grandfather for 60 years. My parents are still together 30 years. Divorce is not an option for me. It's like, 'I'm gonna get married and that's it. He's stuck with me.'"

She also opened up about her parents' relationship and said that while it's been rocky, it inspires her and she hopes to be as lucky in love as they are:

"I've seen my mother and father stick it out. There was a time when I was younger when I really thought they might get divorced. They were fighting all the time. My mother was a mess, my dad was a mess, but they really stuck it out, and now, all this time later... my parents are more in love now than they've ever been in their life and they're just so, so happy. And that's what I want."

"I want to eventually find a man that feels the same way - about divorce not being an option. Working through everything together, even if it's the hardest thing you've ever been through, you just stick it out."
