Lady Gaga debuts brand new song 'Princess Die'

Modern pop sensation Lady Gaga recently treated her Little Monsters in Australia to an exclusive performance of a never before heard song during a live show on her Born This Way Ball tour.

On June 27, the 'Marry The Night' icon held a concert at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and decided to test out a brand new track called 'Princess Die' on the excited crowd.

Speaking to her adoring audience, Gaga explained: "This song may or may not be on my next album, but I wrote it a little while ago and I've never ever played it for anyone."

"I'm going to play it because actually I've been really excited and impressed with how many super-fans have been at each show. I actually feel it would be a disservice to all of you to not play it before I leave."

"This song is a little bit sad and it's in no way reflective about the rest of the music on the album, it's about some of the most deep and personal thoughts I've ever had."

Lyrically, the cut is incredibly emotional and includes lines such as: "I wish that I was strong, I wish that I was wrong. I wish that I could cope, but I took pills and left a note."

"I'm hungry from an anorexic heart, I've been trying to tell you how I feel but was never very smart and wrapped in silks made for Egyptian queens I'll do it in the swimming pool so everybody sees. Bleach out all the dark I'll swallow each peroxide shot."
