Lady Gaga fans have been flocking to the singer's new social networking website Little Monsters after it was opened to the public.

The website had been running in an invite-only capacity but earlier this week it was opened up to the general public.

Little Monsters - which can be found at www.littlemonsters.com - is in essence an international community of Lady Gaga fans in which people can share content.

The website says that it is a "place for all monsters to gather, to create, to share, and to inspire".

It also calls upon Gaga fans to "express yourself, share what it means to you to be a little monster, and do it with pride".
