Lady Gaga has unveiled a new brunette hair colour.

As previously reported, Gaga hinted on her social networking website Little Monsters that she was feeling "less blonde" these days and more "progressive brunette".

The 'Born This Way' star has now uploaded a series of self-taken photos of herself with the new colour onto the website.

The photos begin with a shot of Gaga with dye in her hair, with the singer later adding more photos as the colour began to bloom.

The popular singer meanwhile has recently been engulfed in a row over wearing fur after PETA Vice President Dan Matthews accused Gaga of hypocrisy over the issue.

She later responded to the controversy on Little Monsters with an open letter but refused to confirm whether or not she had been wearing real fur in a photograph snapped recently.
