Lady Gaga's label deny they want her to lose weight

Lady Gaga's record label have denied rumours that they want her to go on a diet.

The singer's figure has attracted lots of media attention recently after the press picked up on photos from her Born This Wall Ball tour that showed some weight gain.

The singer has been speaking about the subject on Twitter and her social networking website Little Monsters recently and she promoted the idea of body image acceptance.

A spokesperson for Gaga's label has denied that they want her to go on a diet and called the speculation "nonsense".

It was said that they were frustrated by Gaga's weight gain as it meant they would have to buy new clothes for her tour.

As previously reported, Lady Gaga recently launched the 'Body Revolution 2013' project on her website, which encourages fans to be proud of who they are.
