Lady Gaga has expressed her frustration at not being allowed to release new music.

The singer's last full album 'Born This Way' was released in 2011 and she is currently working on new effort 'ARTPOP'.

It is due to be unveiled by spring next year but it seems Gaga is hankering to unleash new tunes as soon as possible.

She told her fans on Twitter that she actually has "albums and albums" of new songs - but "stupid popstar rules" means that she can't disseminate them. The 'Marry The Night' star said:

"Do you now how hard it is to have albums+albums of new music that i can't play u. let me just lay on the floor + cry *stupid popstar rules*"

As previously reported, Gaga recently appeared to tease lyrics from new album 'ARTPOP' on Twitter, quoting words from what she says is called 'Tea'.
