Lady Gaga has confirmed on Twitter that she is making a film with photographer, Terry Richardson.

The documentary-style project will be produced by Richardson who has worked alongside Gaga on several projects. Gaga tweeted:

"Merry Christmas little monsters! ... Terry Richardson @Terry_World is making a #LadyGagaMOVIE documenting my life, the creation of [new album] ARTPOP + you!

"Thank you for being so patient waiting for my new album ARTPOP, I hope this gets u (sic) excited for things to come. I love you with all my heart!

"I love you @Terry_World thank you for believing in me and my fans, I have looked up to you and your work for so long, it's a dream come true!

No release date has been announced for the film.
