Gaga congratulates Justin Bieber after hitting Twitter milestone

Lady Gaga has paid tribute to Justin Bieber after the Canadian hit 33 million followers on Twitter.

The 'Born This Way' singer is largely known as the Queen of Twitter, with the singer heralding the most amount of followers in the world.

She recently broke the 33 million benchmark - but it seems Justin Bieber is quickly catching up.

The 'Boyfriend' star also has just smashed through the same milestone, and at the time of writing is about 80,000 follows behind Gaga.

Nevertheless, the 'Marry The Night' singer sportingly praised Bieber on his Twitter efforts, saying:

"So proud of @justinbieber and all the Beliebers! I'm only happy to see your fans growing in size, you all deserve it! Monsters support you!"

Bieber also celebrated on Tuesday (January 15) the six year anniversary of his KidRauhl YouTube channel.
