Lady Gaga on today's MTV VMAs performance: 'You can't expect anything'

Pop superstar Lady Gaga has confessed that there's no way her fans will be able to guess at what she will bring to the 2013 MTV VMAs stage later tonight (August 25) although they're certainly welcome to try.

During a new interview with Just Jared, the 'Judas' beauty was asked what viewers can expect from her comeback set and she explained that she wants to surprise and shock: "You can’t really expect anything. I’m always trying to create something that the fans won’t expect."

"It’s definitely the most physically demanding performance I’ve ever done. It requires a lot of planning and rehearsal. I’m glad to just be back on stage and be able to perform for everybody."

Following her obvious weight loss, he then quizzed her on what she had eaten for lunch that and Gaga admitted that she keeps getting told off for forgetting to eat: "I haven’t eaten yet today! [laughs] I woke up a little bit later and I’m getting ready for rehearsal. Sometimes when I’m working, I forget to eat because I get so excited about what we’re doing. Trust me, you’re not the first one to yell at me for not eating breakfast or lunch today. I’ve already gotten an earful."

The sensation then teased that she will be performing the sequel to her hit single 'Telephone' at London's iTunes Festival on September 1: "The sequel will be on this album and I will be performing it at iTunes festival, about a week from now, September 1, live streamed."
