International singer Lady Gaga thinks her upcoming music sounds like "mad angels".

The eccentric star is gearing up for the release of hotly-anticipated album 'ARTPOP' - which is due to hit shelves on November 11.

Taking to her Instagram account, Gaga revealed that she's wrapped up work on the record.

Writing next to a picture of herself in the studio, Gaga captioned: "Finishing the album. Bye bye baby."

Gaga then uploaded a close-up image of her face with the words: "It's so hard letting go of the music. Nobody can hurt it now. It sounds like mad angels I will always love ARTPOP."

Gaga has opened up about her personal life in a new interview with Elle magazine. The 'Applause' beauty explained that she took on the name Lady Gaga so that she didn't have to take on criticism or fame personally.

She explained: "I am - Stefani is - a perpetually tortured artist. That's why I changed my name. I can't be her in public. She would be a mess!"

The hitmaker also confessed that she works well under pressure, adding: "What are you talking about pressure? I'm great under pressure. I'm a warrior. I'm Rocky, round 12."
