Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are set to release a collaborative jazz album in January 2014.

Details of the record were revealed by Bennett himself at a press conference in Japan.

The 87-year-old crooner said of the upcoming LP: “In January next year we will release the album. It is a very sensational jazz album, with great jazz artists on it, it came out wonderful.”

Bennett was also full of praise for Lady Gaga as he said: “I consider Lady Gaga the Picasso of the entertainment world, she is [and] you will find out. She is very intelligent and she is very right and she is a very talented person.”

He added: “I just love her so much, we’re like brother and sister together. We will always admire one another and do things together.”

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett previously collaborated in 2011 on a version of ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’.
