Lady Gaga: 'The studio is a hospital and I'm a very sick person'

'Applause' hitmaker Lady Gaga took to her official Twitter page in the early hours of this morning (October 14) for an impromptu Q&A session with her followers.

She has finally handed in the final version of her upcoming new album 'ARTPOP', which is due to be released on November 11, and told her fans that it was hard to hand over after working on it for such a long time.

Gaga wrote that the amount of emotion she poured into the songs gave her separation anxiety when it was time to pass the record on to the next stage: "I think the studio is actually just a hospital and I am a very sick person [...] Put a lot of rage into this album. It's been hard to part from it."

The beauty then admitted that completing the record and turning it in has left her feeling deflated: "Been depressed handing it in. It's my friend or something."

Gaga recently announced that the second single to be released from 'ARTPOP' will be 'Venus' and she has now confirmed that the music video will be directed by collaborator Ruth Hogben, who shot and directed her ELLE magazine mini film, 'The Glass House'
