Lady Gaga drops 'Venus' as second single from 'ARTPOP'

Earlier this month, pop icon Lady Gaga confirmed that 'Venus' was scheduled to be the second single from her upcoming new album although these plans have now been cancelled.

She took to her official Twitter page this evening and told her Little Monsters that, instead, her new collaboration with R. Kelly on 'Do What U Want' will now be the next release because of the response it has had:

"Don't worry monsters! We are still scheduled to release #Venus this Monday with a snippet on Friday! AND it will STILL have its own video! However we are overwhelmed by the worldwide response + excitement for DO WHAT U WANT feat. R KELLY & are happy to announce it as 2nd Single!"

Gaga added that with 'ARTPOP' being released on November 11, it's time for her followers to group together and help promote the new material:

"It's time to band together + spread the word as 11.11 ARTPOP approaches! Thank u for creating this unexpected turn I feel very blessed today."
