Lady Gaga calls truce on Sharon Osbourne rift with X Factor performance

Lady Gaga has confirmed that there is no longer any bad blood between herself and Sharon Osbourne.

The two parties have been sparring somewhat over the last year after Osbourne's daughter Kelly was criticised by the 'Born This Way' star for her apparent acerbic role on TV show the Fashion Police.

This created some online hate towards Kelly Osbourne at the hands of Gaga's fans and Sharon later wrote that the singer was hypocritical for not stopping the abuse.

The US star took to the UK X Factor last night (October 27) to perform new tracks 'Venus' and 'Do What U Want' and she confirmed after the slot that she and Sharon had made up.

She even went over to the judge to give her a cuddle - and a picture later revealed that she also gave her a birthday cake for Kelly.

However, it seems Sharon's daughter wasn't too impressed with the birthday gesture, tweeting a picture of the treat along with the caption:

"#EatMyShit #Hypocrisy."

Kelly previously tweeted: "Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the would away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar."

Gaga's 'Venus' meanwhile is now available to buy on iTunes ahead of her 'ARTPOP' album release on November 11.
