Lady Gaga has teased fans with a new promo video for her upcoming Saturday Night Live appearance.

The singer is due to host on the iconic show at the weekend (November 16), as well as perform on it.

She features in a new video that sees the singer and cast member Kenan Thompson speak to camera as they plug the show.

The amusing video sees the two stars riff away as they promote the programme.

Gaga's appearance comes days after she released new album 'ARTPOP', which features the singles 'Applause' and 'Do What U Want'.

It instantly hit No.1 on iTunes charts across the world and it is expected to chart highly in the official lists.

Her promotional work meanwhile is due to take a out-of-this-world turn in early 2015 when Gaga becomes the first recording artist to perform in space.
