Lady Gaga unveils lifesize doll of herself in Japan

Pop megastar Lady Gaga unveiled life-size dolls in her likeness at an event in Tokyo, Japan over the weekend (December 1).

The dolls are somewhat interactive, and if fans put their heads to the chests of the models (one pictured below) they are able to hear the 'Applause' beauty's music along with messages from Gaga herself.

Speaking about her own friends' reactions to them, Gaga explained "they were so excited to take pictures of me with the dolls and then all of a sudden the dolls took over. And the dolls were the most important thing in the room. And this is a beautiful thing."

Billboard reports that these likenesses, named the 'Gagadoll', were created by a Japanese industrial and design company, which teamed with her record label for the special project.

During her recent time in Japan, Gaga also teased her upcoming 'ARTPOP' tour by sharing an unusual clip from a live performance and wore an impressive outfit, which she showed her Little Monsters via her social media accounts.
