Lady Gaga wants Britney Spears duet

Lady Gaga has expressed her desire to collaborate with Britney Spears.

The idea of the blockbuster duet came about at the weekend when the 'Toxic' lady said in a fan Q&A that she would like to work with the 'Applause' star.

The former X Factor USA judge said: "I would do a duet with Lady Gaga. I think that would be a lot of fun. I think she's very different and interesting and intricate."

It seems the feeling is mutual, with the 'ARTPOP' maestro then tweeting Spears directly: "Lets do this b*tch its time."

It wouldn't be the first big name collaboration Spears has recorded in recent times.

The singer teamed up with woman-of-the-moment Miley Cyrus for the track 'SMS' from the latter's 2013 album 'Bangerz'.

She also worked with will.i.am and sister Jamie Lynn on her eighth record 'Britney Jean'.
