Lana Del Rey more interested in "intergalactic possibilities" than feminism

Lana Del Rey has admitted that she finds debate over feminism boring.

The singer is a strong female figure in the music scene, but she told Fader that the idea of feminism doesn't appeal to her.

She said: "For me, the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept...Whenever people bring up feminism, I'm like, god. I'm just not really that interested.

"I'm more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what's going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities."

Del Rey added that her personal "idea of a true feminist is a woman who feels free enough to do whatever she wants".

The US singer meanwhile is due to release her new album 'Ultraviolence' on June 16.
