Lana Del Rey explains 'Pepsi Cola' lyric

Sultry songstress Lana Del Rey has opened up about the suggestive line in her song 'Cola' and revealed that it's not supposed to be a realistic observation about her private parts, and instead is a reference to something a past lover thought about American women.

Her track, entitled 'Cola', boasts the rather unusual line, "my p***y tastes like Pepsi Cola, my eyes are wide as cherry pies", and she explained to Rolling Stone magazine that the lyric was inspired by her Scottish ex-boyfriend:

"He was talking about American girls, his vision of American girls was that all their p—ies tasted like Pepsi-Cola, and that they were such a dream. I thought that was the funniest f—ing thing I’d ever heard. And I thought, ‘Well…’”

When asked what her parents thought of the lyric, Del Rey confessed: “My dad thought ‘Cola’ was funny... My mom didn’t think it was that funny.”
