Lana Del Rey reveals hate mail torment

Lana Del Rey has admitted that she has been receiving "very personal" hate mail.

The Press Association reports that the singer admitted her looks have been the vehicle for the unwanted attention.

She said that in hindsight she wishes she didn't pout as much in the video for her hit 'Video Games', which had led some people to suggest her lips may have been artificially altered in the past. She said:

"Had I been aware of what was ahead of me, I'd have tried not to pout so much in the Video Games video."

She added: "I mean, everyone just wants to talk about my face. And I get very personal messages coming to me, like hate mail, so there is a flipside to the attention my music has been getting."

As previously reported, Del Rey recently revealed the inspiration behind 'Video Games', stating that it was about relationship which she sacrificed her career aspirations for.
