Lana Del Rey opens up on love

Lana Del Rey has opened up about love, calling her first experience with it "electrifying".

Speaking to Complex magazine, the singer said that her track 'Off To The Races' was inspired by someone who made her fall in love.

She added that her partner made her "happy to be alive". She said:

"When I found somebody who I fell in love with, it made me feel different than I felt the rest of the day. It was electrifying. That's what inspired the 'Off to the Races' melodies. That's one of the times when you're feeling electrified by someone else and they make you happy to be alive."

Del Rey had previously discussed the inspiration behind her song 'Video Games', telling NME that it was about a relationship which she sacrificed her career ambitions for.
